| Q : |
If we apply a silicone impregnator to the back side of the stone tiles before setting; will this cause a bonding problem? |

| A : |
Yes, it may cause a bonding problem. Since most setting motars are water based they will wantto repel the water. We suggest using a water based sealer like our product BS H2O – Black SideWater Repellent Emulsion. |

| Q : |
What’s the difference between powder polishing and crystallization? |
|
| A : |
To answer this question thoroughly would required several pages. We would suggest you to
attend a formal training program from our company to find out more about these difference.
(contact us if you needed). However, we can give you some idea.
Crystallization is a process which imparts a shine on the surface of marble by applying a
chemical which reacts with marble and forms a new compound (coating) on the surface of the stone. Generally crystallization is a maintenance process.
Powder polishing is a restorative as well as a maintenance process. Powder polishing works by smoothing the surface of the stone with abrasives and chemical reactions. The major difference is that powder polishing does not form a new compound (coating) on the stone surface. |
